The Friday Conference Center
With over 70,000 attendees and 650 programs per year, the Friday Conference Center is one of the premier conference facilities in the Southeast. The Friday Conference Center combines the latest technology, architectural beauty, and personalized planning services.
The William and Ida Friday Center honors two North Carolinians who have devoted their lives to enhancing and improving the lives of their fellow citizens through their work in education, the arts, and public health. William C. Friday served as president of the University of North Carolina for thirty years, while his wife, Ida, has promoted the arts through her work with a number of North Carolina arts organizations.
Vendor Exhibition
Along with high-quality educational offerings, The May Day Trauma Conference also features vendor exhibitions where participants can learn about new and emerging technology and services in trauma care. The vendor exhibition will be open the before the conference, during breaks, and lunch. Come learn and network with our partners who provide the material and services to take great care of trauma patients.
Silent Auction to Support a Worthy Cause
Numerous baskets donated by partners from across the health system will be open for bid throughout the conference.
Daily Giveaways
Awesome prizes donated by local restaurants and businesses will be raffled at breaks throughout the conference. At the end of the conference, two lucky participants will win a scholarship to one day of next year’s conference. All participants who are present will be eligible to win.

The Tar Heel Trauma Program will be offering some cool “merch.” This year will be offering our popular Tar Heel Trauma yoga jackets along with other apparel.
