Trauma/Emergency Nursing Courses (TNCC-ENPC)

The Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) is a 16-hour course developed by the Emergency Nurses Association to present a firm foundation in trauma nursing and to provide nurses with core or basic trauma cognitive knowledge and psychomotor skills that are associated with the delivery of professional nursing care to the trauma patient. On the other hand, the Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) provides a standardized body of pediatric emergency nursing knowledge to improve the care of pediatric patients. It provides early intervention and expert care for patients from birth to adolescence.

8th annual Paramedic Skills competition

Tar Heel Trauma is very proud and excited to offer our 8th Annual Paramedic Skills Competition.  The Paramedic Skills Competition is a challenging, educational, and fun event where paramedic teams can pit their skills against other teams from across the region and state.  Whether seeking education or practicing for larger competitions, this event features state-of-the art simulation equipment and techniques to recreate realistic, complex patient scenarios.“  what team will win bragging rights this year?
