Sarah has been an occupational therapy practitioner at UNC Medical Center for the past 10 years. She started her career as an occupational therapy assistant and then went on to earn both her master’s and Doctorate in occupational therapy. She has a love for ICU practice (specifically the surgery/trauma ICU) and completed both her master’s and Doctoral capstone projects on occupational therapy practice in the ICU. She continues to share her knowledge and love of ICU practice with her acute care team, and with OT students in her role as an adjunct instructor within the UNC OT program.
