Training Captain/Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinator

Allison Riddle Bissette is an EMS training Captain with Johnston County Emergency Services EMS Division, with nearly twenty years of experience in emergency services. She has a strong passion for pediatric emergency care as a paramedic and as the mother to a medically complex child. She has extensive experience as a Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinator (PECC), a North Carolina EMS for Children Advisory Council member, a Safe Kids Coalition Coordinator, a Child Fatality Prevention Team member, and a regional crisis management team member. Allison worked with the EMSC to secure Carter Kits for every EMS unit in her EMS system. She has provided multiple trainings on Carter Kits for various public safety agencies, emphasizing the positive effects of utilizing sensory kits in specific patient populations. Allison has a Bachelor’s in Emergency Medicine from Western Carolina University
