SUMMARY:UNC Tar Heel Trauma 8th Annual Paramedic Skills Competition
DESCRIPTION:Tar Heel Trauma is very proud and excited to offer our 8th Annual Paramedic Skills Competition. The Paramedic Skills Competition is a challenging\, educational\, and fun event where Emergency Medical Providers from across the region and state can come together to put their skills to the test. Ideal for anyone seeking education or practicing for larger competitions\, this event features high-fidelity simulation equipment and techniques to recreate realistic\, complex patient scenarios. \nEach team should consist of three members with a minimum of one paramedic. Space is limited to eight teams. Hurry and register while we still have openings! \nA list of items for participants to bring will be sent out one month prior to the competition. Participants should expect to supply their own personal items such as stethoscopes\, scissor pouches\, goggles/glasses\, and gloves. \nThe top three teams will be recognized! Each individual member of the winning team will also receive free registration for one day of the 2021 May Day conference!
